About Technovation Challenge 

Application for the Technovation 2018 is now open! If you are a girl aged between 10-18 and want to get necessary skills to became a tech entrepreneur and leader, a great opportunity is presenting itself for you. Each year, Technovation invites teams of the girls from around the world to learn and apply their skill needed to solve real world problem.

What will you learn:

You will identify a problem in your community and create a mobile app solution to address that issue and then will be educated how to launch it business.

Costs:

All you needs is:

• a team of five middle school or high school girls 
• a safe place to meet 
• a laptop with internet

Registration Deadline: March 7, 2018 Submission Deadline April 25. 2018

Semifinalist announcement: May 31, 2018

Duration: 12 Week

Eligibility:

Any girls whose age is between 10-18 can apply to this program. 

• Technovation is free to all .
• No pre-selection screening for participation.
• No prior programming experience is necessary for Technovation students. 
• The team should not have more than 6 members ( excluding mentors).
• Team won the code and intellectual property developed during Technovation.  

Mentors: any one willing to support and encourage the teams can register as a mentor. The mentor dose not need to have prior programming experience. The students cant't ask their mentors to write the code or business plan or produce the demo video.

How To Apply:

You and your teams needs to Register online by March 7, 2018 and them submit your app by April 25, 2018
